I learnt it from it, watching it again again & again.
The cake wasnt really a dome shape, I simply baked 4 layers cakes from different cake mould of different sizes. As you can see the last layer at the top was not big enough, but I filled it with the whipping cream just to make sure the dress is a nice bell shape. Didnt except the cake shape to turn out so well and proportional.
I have saw quite a few other people's that looks quite strange shape..
so point here is, do watch alot of video to make sure you learn from others mistake. I think I find it specially very useful for self taught.!
Secretly it has been my dream cake, everytime when I walk pass bakery that has a doll by the window. This was my 23rd bday cake. =) I know it funny to bake my own cake.! But I dont mind.
