Polka Dotted Swissroll

Recipe adapted from Anncoo Journal
 
70g Plain flour
20g Sugar
4 Egg yolks
30g Cooking oil
30g Fresh milk
1tsp Vanilla extract
4 Egg whites
50g Sugar
2drops of desired coloring
 
 
 
method of piping is learnt from below link
 
but i didnt use the cake recipe from that. I use this below instead.
and instead of freezing the colored batter pattern. I bake them for 1 min first.
 
Always Loving 1st Attempt.
cause it always gives me some form of excitement & anicipation.
 




Riped rockmelon always has this very nice fragrance.
Added to my butter cream and TADA. it became the filling for my roll.
 
 
LoVe how cute it looks. Swissroll are never the same anymore.
